How You Can Help : Volunteer : Interest Form

The first step in becoming a volunteer for CYO and Community Services is to submit the on-line interest form or contact the volunteer office at 330.762.2961 x232 for a volunteer packet. We firmly believe that volunteers are vital staff support and should be placed in meaningful assignments that match your interests and utilize your talents. Placement is based on openings available. We ask our inservice volunteers to dedicate a minimum of 30 hours per year once placed in a program area. The volunteer process includes successful completion of: an application, interview/general orientation, reference/background checks, Virtus training for adults (National Catholic Risk Retention Group, Inc) and training for individual assignments. A tuberculosis test is also required for those volunteering with Adult Day Services.
