Each activity unleashes a camper’s inner potential for growth while building self-confidence and self-esteem. Join us this summer for an experience of a lifetime!

Nature
Camp Christopher takes campers to the classroom of nature as they learn to care for the earth. With 165 acres of beautifully wooded grounds, Camp Christopher offers opportunities for personal growth that cannot be found in other summer programs. Visiting the lands and seeing the carvings where American Indians once walked, traversing the Natural Bridge, telling stories at Old Man’s Cabin, and exploring Mummy’s Cave awakens youth to the natural world while educating them about its history and complexity. Hiking through Fern Cliff Creek, observing water species in one of the four lakes on the grounds, viewing hundreds of tree and plant life species, and coexisting with the many friendly creatures that call Camp Christopher home makes each new day one filled with discoveries.

Community
Spend a week at Camp Christopher and find yourself immersed in a community where every person feels welcomed, included, and experiences a sense of belonging. Placed in single-sex cabins and led by well-trained counselors, each camper becomes a valued member of that cabin community with rights and responsibilities. Together, the group will plan the weeks’s activities that challenge each individual, at his/her own pace, and without excessive competition. Cabins participate in evening programs designed to emphasize each camper’s membership in the greater camping community. At the end of the week, campers leave with renewed self-confidence, lifetime skills, lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.

Spirit
Camp Christopher is the only Catholic camp in the state of Ohio. Each camper is given the opportunity to experience a deeper friendship with Jesus through spiritual activities such as daily prayer, talks on Christian values, and weekly Mass. Throughout the week, campers learn about achievement, charity, positive attitudes, and service to others and creation. Camp Christopher is open to people of all faiths who wish experience God, discover self, and walk hand in hand with friends. Come grow in the Camp Christopher Spirit!
